Weber Institute of Applied Sciences & Technology

Our application window for the 2025-2026 school year will commence on Monday, December 1st, 2025, and conclude on Friday, March 6th, 2026. Applications received after the designated deadline will automatically be placed on the waitlist.

Aspiring Weber students are required to submit a filled application and present all required documentation in person at our main office located at 302 W Weber Ave, Stockton, CA 95203. Failure to provide ALL required documents and signatures will result in denial of the application.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. GRADE POINT AVERAGE (GPA) -  2.50

By meeting our 2.5 GPA standard, you're showing us that you’ve already built the study habits and work ethic needed to master our advanced programs. • We understand that students may face various circumstances that may affect their GPA. Therefore, we take a holistic approach in our admissions process by considering a range of factors such as personal achievements, extracurricular involvement, personal essays and letters of recommendation to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of each applicant.

  • Note for Discipline Reports (IDS201): When requesting this document, please remind your school office that the "minimum number of incidents" must be set to "0" in the system. This ensures a report is generated, even if no incidents are on file.

If accepted, student and parent(s)/legal guardian(s) understand that enrollment is a privilege contingent upon maintaining required grades, attendance and proper uniform attire. Weber also maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for disciplinary infractions, as any acts of defiance, disrespect, disruption, or disobedience are inconsistent with our school’s values and culture. At the end of each semester, students who do not meet these standards will undergo review and may be reassigned to their home area high school. I also acknowledge that SUSD does not provide transportation, and it is the student’s responsibility to attend school punctually and consistently.

Mantenemos un cierto nivel de rendimiento académico para los estudiantes entrantes para garantizar que prosperen en el rigor académico de nuestra institucion. En última instancia, sirve como un indicador del conocimiento fundamental, los habitos de estudio, la capacidad de un estudiante para administrar el tiempo de manera efectiva, demostrar disciplina en sus estudios y cumplir constantemente con las expectativas academicas.

Entendemos que los estudiantes pueden enfrentar diversas circunstancias que pueden afectar su GPA. Por lo tanto, adoptamos un enfoque holístico en nuestro proceso de admisión al considerar una variedad de factores como logros personales, participación extracurricular, ensayos personales y cartas de recomendación para garantizar una evaluación integral de cada solicitante.

2. ASISTENCIA - Se mantuvo un 90% de asistencia positiva, sin ausencias injustificadas y tardanzas limitadas.

Weber valora mucho la asistencia regular, ya que juega un papel vital en el éxito académico y el desarrollo personal general del estudiante. Creemos que la participación activa en el aula es crucial para un aprendizaje eficaz, el compromiso con los compañeros y la construcción de una base sólida de conocimiento. Al asistir a clases con regularidad, los estudiantes maximizan sus oportunidades para interactuar con los maestros, participar en debates y beneficiarse del plan de estudios integral que ofrecemos. 

También valoramos la puntualidad y entendemos que fomenta la disciplina y la responsabilidad, cualidades esenciales que preparan a los estudiantes para sus proyectos futuros. Asistir constantemente a clases a tiempo no sólo demuestra el compromiso de un estudiante con su educación, sino también habilidades importantes como la gestión del tiempo y la responsabilidad.

3. COMPORTAMIENTO Y DISCIPLINA

Los estudiantes entrantes deben demostrar que han mantenido varios atributos de disciplina y comportamiento. Creemos firmemente que el comportamiento responsable y el cumplimiento de nuestras pautas establecidas son esenciales para el desarrollo personal, el rendimiento académico y el cultivo de una comunidad positiva.

a. Conducta Respetuosa

Se espera que los estudiantes traten a sus compañeros, profesores, personal y al entorno de aprendizaje con respeto, demostrando un comportamiento cortés y valorando la diversidad y las opiniones de los demás. 

b. Comportamiento No Disruptivo

Los estudiantes deben abstenerse de participar en comportamientos que interrumpan el ambiente de aprendizaje o dificulten la experiencia educativa de otros. Esto incluye, entre otros, todas las formas de intimidación, acoso verbal o físico o comportamiento discriminatorio. 

c. Uso Responsable de la Tecnologia

Se espera que los estudiantes utilicen los recursos tecnológicos de manera responsable y de acuerdo con las pautas establecidas del distrito. Esto incluye respetar la etiqueta digital, evitar el acceso o uso no autorizado de sistemas tecnológicos y adherirse a un comportamiento en línea apropiado. 

d. Honestidad Academica

Los estudiantes deben respetar los principios de integridad académica, incluida la presentación de su propio trabajo, la cita adecuada de las fuentes y no cometer plagio ni trampas. Se espera que completen las tareas y exámenes con integridad y honestidad.

 Si son aceptados, el estudiante y los padres/tutores legales entienden que los estudiantes deben mantener calificaciones razonables, asistencia, vestimenta uniforme adecuada y buen comportamiento para mantenerse al día. Al final de cada semestre, los estudiantes que no cumplan con ninguno de estos requisitos serán evaluados y podrán ser enviados a su escuela secundaria de origen. Los estudiantes y los padres/tutores legales también entienden que el SUSD no proporcionará transporte ni pases de autobús al Weber Institute, y que los estudiantes son responsables de asistir a la escuela de manera oportuna y adecuada. RTD ofrece transporte gratuito a los estudiantes que lleven su identificación escolar.
